Have the Moon landings deniers got anything better to do with their time, likes events taking place right now,
Rather than bring obsessed with denigrating the greatest ever engineering achievement in history?
Maybe they lack an education, particularly in science, which is a worrying sign about the state of the US education system.
As the video pointed out, John Kennedy was a great orator, and was able to hide the fact that he was not interested in spaceflight.
Given that fact, perhaps the Kennedy Space Center should now be renamed for a genuine spaceflight advocate, like James Webb,
The administrator of NASA in the 1960s.
However, although for political reasons and not for scientific and exploration reasons, Kennedy was responsible, together with his successor,
Lyndon Johnson, for making the Moon landings happen, and it seems to me absurd that their signatures and names were not
Left on the descent stages of the lunar modules which were left behind on the Moon, rather than that of the President at the time of the
Landings, Richard Nixon, who had nothing to do with Apollo and was even less interested in spaceflight than Kennedy was.
At the very least The names of Kennedy and Johnson should have been added to that of Nixon.
What is also even more curious that no plaques as far as I know of Kennedy’s Moon speeches were left behind on the surface of the Moon,
Which would have been a lasting and fitting memorial to the assassinated President.
