Cleaver seems like a nice man. Nice Men don’t do well with aggressive; angry, selfish and hateful people. Nice men watch and hear things that should call them to concern. The suggestion of ignoring “tweets and look the other way and be better than his base... Evil wins when good men fail to do something about it. Just a thought...be nice...for as long as you can.

The reason representative Collins wanted to take down the words of Nancy Pelosi was because it was the resolution that was being voted on... not what everyone else said. Again, what hypocrisy.

I agree with him completly, political debates got reduced to nothing more than WWE fake wrestling, an orgasmic enthusiasm over conflict for the sake of conflict.

if there are RULES IN HOUSE that they can not say the word RACIST during a talk to the House members....
THEN THAT MORONIC RULE NEEDS TO BE CHANGED YESTERDAY !!!!

I like him...he is just embarrassed. I'll never know why the media has to constantly read his tweets on air...we know what he said and if we don't we know where to find it. STOP

This Twitter app is becoming a BS nonsense! It's like playing "too much video game" for some people. It's addicting and obsessive! If you want to say something, say to me in person and in my face! Don't tweet anymore!

i think he was trying to speak of saying "racist" as a name calling; and the house should be more dignified than to resort to name calling. while this went on, what bill was signed?(real question, something happened, while all were tripping over the tweets)

I disagree with Mr Cleavers poistion , the tweets are racist and the office needs to keep and the resolutio is helping his base undetstand how seriouesly bias and what a huge BIGOT he is.

That is a good idea to forget about his tweets. Government by tweet, what is the world coming to? They should not be recognized because they amount to yelling from the stands at the ball game with about as much forethought. The mainstream media would not be able to muster such discipline though. This is quite far from FDR’s reassuring fireside chats. Like Mitch Mcconnell said the other day, aim higher. They criticized Carter for being too informal. Now things are just too crass.
